A Comprehensive Guide to Future Indefinite Tense
Hello Students! Today we will learn the Future Indefinite Tense (also known as Simple Future). This tense is used to talk about actions that will happen in the time to come.
Identification and Basic Rules (Future Indefinite के नियम)
हिंदी वाक्यों के अंत में "गा", "गी", "गे" (जैसे: जाएगा, खाएगी, खेलेंगे) आता है।
* Helping Verbs: इसमें Shall और Will का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
* Shall: केवल I और We के साथ।
* Will: बाकी सभी Subjects (He, She, It, You, They, Name) के साथ।
* Main Verb: इसमें हमेशा क्रिया की 1st Form का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
* Modern Note: आजकल बोलचाल की अंग्रेज़ी में सभी के साथ Will का प्रयोग किया जाता है, लेकिन व्याकरण (Grammar) के अनुसार I/We के साथ Shall लगाना उचित है।
Simple (Affirmative) Sentences
Rule: Subject + Will/Shall + Verb (1st Form) + Object.
* I shall write a letter tomorrow. — मैं कल एक पत्र लिखूँगा।
* She will sing a song in the party. — वह पार्टी में गाना गाएगी।
* They will play cricket next Sunday. — वे अगले रविवार को क्रिकेट खेलेंगे।
* He will help you in your work. — वह तुम्हारे काम में तुम्हारी मदद करेगा।
* We shall go to Delhi next month. — हम अगले महीने दिल्ली जाएंगे।
* It will rain today. — आज बारिश होगी।
* Ram will buy a new house. — राम एक नया घर खरीदेगा।
* You will win the race. — तुम दौड़ जीतोगे।
* Birds will fly in the sky. — पक्षी आसमान में उड़ेंगे।
* My mother will cook delicious food. — मेरी माँ स्वादिष्ट खाना बनाएंगी।
* The children will enjoy the holidays. — बच्चे छुट्टियों का आनंद लेंगे।
* The sun will rise at 6 AM. — सूरज सुबह 6 बजे उगेगा।
* I shall drink milk tonight. — मैं आज रात दूध पीऊँगा।
* They will reach home soon. — वे जल्द ही घर पहुँचेंगे।
* We shall learn a new lesson. — हम एक नया पाठ सीखेंगे।
* He will read this book. — वह यह किताब पढ़ेगा।
* She will wash her clothes. — वह अपने कपड़े धोएगी।
* You will speak English fluently. — तुम फर्राटेदार अंग्रेज़ी बोलोगे।
* Mohan will bring a gift for me. — मोहन मेरे लिए एक उपहार लाएगा।
* I shall see you again. — मैं तुमसे फिर मिलूँगा।
Negative Sentences
Rule: Subject + Will/Shall + Not + Verb (1st Form) + Object.
* I shall not write a letter. — मैं पत्र नहीं लिखूँगा।
* She will not sing a song. — वह गाना नहीं गाएगी।
* They will not play football. — वे फुटबॉल नहीं खेलेंगे।
* He will not tell a lie. — वह झूठ नहीं बोलेगा।
* We shall not waste our time. — हम अपना समय बर्बाद नहीं करेंगे।
* It will not rain today. — आज बारिश नहीं होगी।
* Ram will not go to the market. — राम बाज़ार नहीं जाएगा।
* You will not fail in the exam. — तुम परीक्षा में फेल नहीं होगे।
* Birds will not fly in the rain. — पक्षी बारिश में नहीं उड़ेंगे।
* My sister will not cook food today. — मेरी बहन आज खाना नहीं बनाएगी।
* Cows will not eat meat. — गाय मांस नहीं खाएगी।
* The sun will not rise late tomorrow. — कल सूरज देर से नहीं उगेगा।
* I shall not watch TV tonight. — मैं आज रात टीवी नहीं देखूँगा।
* They will not come to the party. — वे पार्टी में नहीं आएंगे।
* We shall not live in that city. — हम उस शहर में नहीं रहेंगे।
* He will not drive the car fast. — वह गाड़ी तेज़ नहीं चलाएगा।
* She will not come late. — वह देर से नहीं आएगी।
* You will not forget my name. — तुम मेरा नाम नहीं भूलोगे।
* This machine will not work. — यह मशीन काम नहीं करेगी।
* I shall not receive his call. — मैं उसका फोन नहीं उठाऊँगा।
Interrogative Type 1 Sentences (Starting with Will/Shall)
Rule: Will/Shall + Subject + Verb (1st Form) + Object + ?
* Will you write a letter? — क्या तुम पत्र लिखोगे?
* Will she sing a song? — क्या वह गाना गाएगी?
* Will they play hockey? — क्या वे हॉकी खेलेंगे?
* Will he speak English? — क्या वह अंग्रेज़ी बोलेगा?
* Shall we go together? — क्या हम साथ जाएंगे?
* Will it rain in the evening? — क्या शाम को बारिश होगी?
* Will Ram go to the temple? — क्या राम मंदिर जाएगा?
* Will you like this gift? — क्या तुम्हें यह उपहार पसंद आएगा?
* Will birds fly away? — क्या पक्षी उड़ जाएंगे?
* Will your father work in an office? — क्या तुम्हारे पिता ऑफिस में काम करेंगे?
* Will the children make a noise? — क्या बच्चे शोर मचाएंगे?
* Will the sun rise on time? — क्या सूरज समय पर उगेगा?
* Shall I look after your bags? — क्या मैं तुम्हारे बैगों की देखभाल करूँ? (Request/Offer)
* Will the train arrive on time? — क्या ट्रेन समय पर आएगी?
* Will they stay at our home? — क्या वे हमारे घर रुकेंगे?
* Will she teach you English? — क्या वह तुम्हें अंग्रेज़ी पढ़ाएगी?
* Shall we need your help? — क्या हमें तुम्हारी मदद की ज़रूरत होगी?
* Will he remember my birthday? — क्या उसे मेरा जन्मदिन याद रहेगा?
* Will you want some tea? — क्या तुम्हें कुछ चाय चाहिए होगी?
* Will the shop open tomorrow? — क्या कल दुकान खुलेगी?
Interrogative Type 1 Negative Sentences
Rule: Will/Shall + Subject + Not + Verb (1st Form) + Object + ?
* Will you not write a letter? — क्या तुम पत्र नहीं लिखोगे?
* Will she not sing a song? — क्या वह गाना नहीं गाएगी?
* Will they not play with us? — क्या वे हमारे साथ नहीं खेलेंगे?

* Where will Ram work? — राम कहाँ काम करेगा?
* Why will you laugh? — तुम क्यों हँसोगे?

Interrogative Type 2 Negative Sentences
Rule: Wh-word + Will/Shall + Subject + Not + Verb (1st Form) + Object + ?
* Why will you not write? — तुम क्यों नहीं लिखोगे?
* Why will she not speak English? — वह अंग्रेज़ी क्यों नहीं बोलेगी?
* What will they not understand? — उन्हें क्या समझ नहीं आएगा?
* Why will he not come here? — वह यहाँ क्यों नहीं आएगा?
* Why shall we not play today? — हम आज क्यों नहीं खेलेंगे?
* When will she not work? — वह कब काम नहीं करेगी?
